Balabolka

Balabolka is Text-To-Speech (TTS) software that can read text from DOC, RTF, PDF, ODT, FB2 and HTML files. The user can save the text as an audio file in a WAV, MP3, OGG or WMA file. The font size, the background color, and the pitch and rate of each voice are adjustable. The software will use any voice that has previously been installed on a computer. The program comes with a dictionary, spellchecker, and a tool that can show the pronunciation of any word. Balabolka also comes with a magnifier that can enlarge the screen up to 16X. The language of the software and the interface can be used in English, French and many other languages. It can be run from a USB drive provided there is at least one voice on the computer.
