Joan Wolforth was in the Counselling Department at Dawson College for 12 years and from 1985 also served as head of the Service for Students with Disabilities. From 1993 until her retirement in 2010 she was Director of the Office for Students with Disabilities and a Research Associate in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology at McGill University. She holds a Master’s degree in Counselling from McGill and a Doctorate in Human Development and Applied Psychology from the University of Toronto. She has been part of the Adaptech team for number of projects especially those related to e-learning and post secondary students with disabilities. Her other research area is centred around postsecondary students with learning disabilities.
