ABBYY PDF Transformer + allows users to create and convert PDFs into Word, Excel, RTF, TXT, HTML, PDF/A and more. Users can also use optical character recognition to render their PDFs editable and searchable in more than 50 languages. The C-Pen is a portable scanner with built-in optical character recognition (OCR) software. To use it, the user has to grip the C-Pen and glide it over the text that is to be scanned. The text is then transferred to Microsoft Word to be edited or saved. It is possible to download add-ons (some are free while others have to be bought) to add new features to the C-Pen such as a dictionary, translator, or text-to-speech. If your computer is bluetooth enabled then you don’t need the USB cable to scan.
