My Notes allows users to take notes by typing or handwriting and create lists and/or events. Users can categorize, add icons, password protect, and add reminders for their notes, lists and events. The due dates and events can be added to the app with the default Windows 10 calendar. Background colour, font type and font size can also be changed to fit the user’s preferences. Photos can be added to the notes and events can also be set to repeat daily, weekly, monthly or yearly.

Evernote allows users to create and save notes in notebooks. Users can insert photos, checklists, links, files, and audio recordings. Users can customize text (e.g., bolded, italicized, underlined) and set tags, reminders, and shortcuts for quick access.

Explain Everything allows users to create presentations. Users can record audio and animation, draw, scale, rotate, design shapes, adjust font, insert PDF files, insert videos, insert web pages, and save projects online. Presentations can also be shared online.
