Writeometer allows the user to set daily word/character goals for ongoing writing projects and assignments. The app rewards the user with “guavas” (i.e., points) that can be redeemed for rewards determined by the user (e.g., eating a cookie, taking out the dog for a walk). Writeometer allows the user to set timers and reminders. It also offers a dictionary, a thesaurus and a “word salad” tool within the application to help inspire the user.
