Narrator is a text-to-speech utility. Narrator reads text that is pasted into a window or imported as an .rtf, .txt or .doc. You can choose different voices, rates, pitches, inflections and volume of speech for each character. Additional voices can be obtained from Cepstral in several different languages. Speech can also be exported directly to iTunes, where it can be listened to repeatedly and synched to an iPad, iPod or iPhone.
