Personal Technology in the Classroom

This project, which commenced in 2018-2019, is ongoing.

The goal of this study is to understand the perspectives of students, faculty and professionals about the use of students’ personal mobile technologies in postsecondary classrooms. To understand the views of these different stakeholders we will conduct a series of focus groups and use this to create a questionnaire about students’ use of personal mobile technologies in postsecondary classrooms. The questionnaire will be administered to students with and without disabilities to better understand how students’ personal mobile technologies can best be used in the classroom to help students learn.

This project is funded by the Support Academic Success of Students With Special Needs (S051).
